The biggest thing I've learned in my journey of taking whakaahua is that we all deserve a moment to ourselves sometimes.

It's only when we take time for ourselves, that we gain a greater sense of our tuakiritanga.

Our photo session is about strengthening this.

This is more than just capturing your whakaahua, it’s about reaffirming your strengths and helping to whakamana you.

Tō manawa, tō tuakiritanga.

My approach:

01.

Kōrero mai.

So you're ready to capture your pū rākau? I got you!

Get in touch with me and let's book it in

02.

Mihimihi.

So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick hui online, over the phone or ā tinana to discuss your vision and plan everything out.

03.

Ngā Whakaahua.

Kaua e māharahara e hoa - this is your day for YOU!

We’ll karakia, kōrero, katakata, whakawhanaunga, waiata and get comfortable with one another as we lead one another through your whakaahua session.

04.

Hoatu ki a koe.

In two - three weeks, you'll receive your whakaahua via your own private and password protected online Gallery.

In the last decade I have worked in jobs in media, journalism and marketting - banking a wide commercial photography portfolio. Now, I'm on a journey to capture whakaahua Māori in a culturally safe and mana enhancing way.
I am actively building, learning, evolving and developing as an artist - so no one whakaahua is the same.
